Within the production department, reporting to the workshop manager, the forklift driver delivers plastic parts to various internal and external customers in compliance with technical, economic, quality and deadline requirements, and in compliance with environmental/safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Supply workstations with components
- Ensure the removal of full packaging from workstations to the dock or warehouse
- Check with the regulators about any production changes that need to take place
- Prepare packaging with the appropriate interior lining for delivery to the workstation, respecting the displayed quantities
- Ensure the wrapping or strapping of pallets
- Prevent material and component shortages
- Empty cardboard, plastic, and other workshop waste bins, respecting selective sorting
- Return pallets to the warehouse according to the warehouse addresses in the event of a stock return
- Check and inspect the vehicle's safety and starting components, in accordance with the vehicle data sheet, and ensure the energy changes of the vehicle used
- Check if there is a need for restocking
- Store and address components and component stock returns
- Notify the manager (adjuster, technician, driver, maintenance) of any malfunctions
- Ensure compliance standards (work procedures, 5S, etc.) and be a driving force for improving them.
- In the event of a reduced workload, you may be required to provide support on production operator assignments.
Prerequisites:
- Experience in logistics/forklift driving
- CACES Level 3
