General Profile
TRISTONE is seeking for a suitable candidate to take the position of Junior Key Account Manager. The Junior Key Account Manager will be responsible for Fiat, VW and other accounts related to Future Power activity (rubber hose and air tank ), for China region.
Location & Travel
The location of this position will be based in SZ, China . Some travels will be required.
Reporting to
He/ she will report to the Global Key Account Manager and in dotted line to the Managing Director, SZ plant.
Key Functions
- The KAM will proactively work between the Purchasing and Engineering organizations at the customers to maintain a consistently high level of service delivery.
- Will lever customer global alliance and assist in the structures to identifying further new business opportunities in line with the TRISTONE strategy.
- With a high level of customer presence and providing a “one face” customer interface, the KAM will strive to promote TRISTONE Innovations, technical differentiators and manufacturing footprint towards the customers.
- Maintaining the revenue and gross profit of the account ensuring profitability in line with annual targets.
- Identify and exhaust all additional revenue streams opportunities (prototype, tooling engineering sales).
- Produce, implement and maintain a business plan for the account portfolio that supports business strategic plans.
- Develop a personal sales plan consisting of detailed information at customer level of the most strategic prospects, commercial approach for each of the China customers, targets and probabilities of realising specific sales deals.
- Deliver growth in all business segments, identify growth opportunities pro-actively while meeting customer profitability level and revenue targets.
- Be responsible for negotiations for both retention of existing business and leveraging growth.
- Undertake account analysis to identify trends in customer activity, track sales performance in line with budget and forecast and identify opportunities to introduce new products and solutions.
- Hold budget responsibility for the China OEM accounts.
Profile requirements
- Proven track record in Key Account Management in Tier 1 supply industry, ideally linked to Fiat , VW
- Experience in Sales calculation and quotation process
- Excellent communication/presentation skills and customer relationships
- Business oriented
- Highly motivated, confident and flexible.
- Negotiation skills
- Ability to interface with cross-functional teams and all levels of personnel and management and to work in an international environment.
- Excellent organization and time/project management skills
- Focused, reliable with attention to details
- Able to manage multiple responsibilities
- Strong MS Word skill (i.e. Word, Outlook, Excel)
